However, its stop Balnica is located almost at the very Slovak-Polish borderline, approximately 1.5 hours of walking along a yellow tourist mark from the Slovakian village called Osadné that is situated a few kilometres to the east from Medzilaborce.The narrow-gauge railway used to serve for transfer of wood from the mountains. Nowadays it serves as a tourist attraction and it shall take you to the nearest Polish villages by an ancestral train.
