Hotel Kamei, Sninské rybníky

This suburban recreation area is a system of tourist attractions consisting of the Bio Natural Swimming Pool for swimming, (where the water filtration in a biological zone is achieved through plants rooted in the system) and 2 ponds with a natural bottom providing the opportunities for fishing. The facility consists of the swimming pool with three-depth- zones divided by swimming piers for swimmers and non-swimmers, of grassland used for resting, and the pool itself that serves for the water filtration and water cleaning. Visitors are further offered playgrounds for the sports activities, children's playgrounds, catering and accommodation services.The area is an ideal starting point for tourist journeys by car, hiking as well as cycling tours. Ascent of the Sninský kameň mountain is one of the most favourite ones. It is possible to proceed one´s tour to the Morské oko lake, the largest volcanic lake in Slovakia.
